Holiday Window Painting - beginning November 15

Beginning in mid-November The Village is expecting a flurry of snow and a sprinkling of
Holiday Cheer as we begin our Holiday window painting for the third year.

Light Up the Village Day - November 23 & 24

The CVA and a lovely group of Holiday Helpers will be hitting the streets to assist business owners in “Lighting up the Village”. Volunteers will be installing white twinkling lights in business windows to help brighten up the Village for our evening shoppers.

*SPECIAL NIGHT* Thursdays on the Coast - Black Friday Edition - November 27

Cap off the busiest shopping day of the year with a stroll through the charming streets of Carlsbad Village. Enjoy the fine art, live music, tasty treats and renew your spirit! Pick up your programs at begin the walk at New Village Arts Theatre 2787 State Street.

Jingle Bell Shop– November 27 – 29

Carlsbad Village will be dressed in all its holiday finery. Stroll the streets of the Village, enjoy strolling musicians and other street performers and take advantage of great sales, special deals and holiday goodies throughout the shops and restaurants in the Village. You’re sure to find some amazing and unique gifts.

Pups on Parade – Sunday, December 6

9 am to noon at The Shops at Village Faire

Carlsbad Village Drive and Carlsbad Boulevard

This annual event is a big hit with puppy lovers. We start the day with individual photos with Santa from 9 am – noon and then take a group shot with Santa at the Community Christmas tree. The Puppy Parade will begin at 12:15 at The Shops at Village Faire and circle Carlsbad Blvd, Grand Ave., State Street and Carlsbad Village Drive.

Rotary Tree Lighting – Sunday, December 6

2 pm to dusk at The Shops at Village Faire

Our Annual tradition continues as the Rotary lights the Community Christmas Tree with the help of Mayor Bud Lewis and Santa Clause. A day full of entertainment and treats will be capped off by the lighting of our beautiful tree. This is a “don’t miss” community event.

Every Wednesday & Saturday - 1 pm to 5 pm

Grand Avenue and Roosevelt Street

Don’t miss the Farmers’ Market during the months of November & December as we will be hosting a multitude of musical guests and celebrating the holidays with special family events. The Carlsbad Village Farmers’ Market is a great place to get the freshest local produce and flowers and even a unique gift or two. Make sure you visit all our great shops and restaurants while you visit.
