Thursdays on the Coast continues through the Fall and Winter and we have new additions to our line-up of venues and artists. This month, the event hub (where you pick up your programs and walking maps) will be located at The Foundry @ New Village Arts, 2787 State Street.
New Village Arts is currently staging the beloved musical "Into the Woods" and you may be able to get tickets for the Thursday evening show which begins at 8pm. The box office will open at 7pm.
Also, the Flippin' Pizza truck will be joining us offering give-away scratchers to promote a special promotion they are running in October to raise funds for The Tony Hawk Foundation, which serves low-income youth by working with community leaders to build skateparks around the world.
At Ivanffy-Uhler Gallery at 565 Grand Avenue, the city will be hosting an Opening Reception for the new Village Banner Installation. The reception will honor the artists, students from Valley Middle School, who created the works for a project called "Healing Waters".
The rest of the Village will be full of art and live music as well, so don't miss out on all the great venues on State Street, Grand Avenue, and Carlsbad Village Drive.
Visit all these great venues: Caldo Pomodoro, COAL Gallery, Carlsbad Village Theatre, Chandler's Gallery and Boutique, Fairen Del, Fancy Pants, Global HeArt, Homelife Village Realty, Intriguing, Ivanffy-Uhler Gallery, The Jewelry Source, Lynn Forbes School of Sculpture, Oceanside Art Gallery, Ocean House, Stone Soup Store, Studio BE, Taschi Jewelry Design, The Foundry at New Village Arts, Thursdays on the Coast Phantom Gallery, Relm~Wine.Beer.Bistro, Vickie Kay's, and Vinaka Cafe.
If you run out of time on the night of the art walk, the art stays up for a month so you can always make more than one trip to the Village.
